We collected koala skulls to assess why they have died. First graders, look at the teeth. Can you tell if koalas are herbivores or carnivores? How do you know?
Blake, I am not sure. I don't think they have continuously growing teeth like a shark, because all they eat is leaves. The older skulls have worn down teeth. That is one way to know how old they were when they died, so I assume that means that they do not get new teeth when one falls out!
